Glaucoma is one of the main causes of vision loss in Australia. Vision Australia helps people with glaucoma to increase their independence.

Seventy-seven year old Jeff has macular degeneration. He is joined by 300,000 Australians who are blind or have low vision. And this figure is set to double by 2020.
We urgently need to raise $660,000 to meet the growing demand for our free programs and help people like Jeff to maintain their independence.

An announcement made by the Federal Government on 9 March is an initial step towards ensuring that people who are blind or have low vision will eventually have the opportunity to exercise their constitutional right to vote privately.
